    <title>Análise de parâmetros de contratação de docentes nos departamentos de química das universidades federais brasileiras</title>
    <link>http://bdtd.uftm.edu.br/handle/123456789/2095</link>
    <description>Título: Análise de parâmetros de contratação de docentes nos departamentos de química das universidades federais brasileiras
Abstract: This study analyzes the hiring patterns of faculty members in Chemistry Departments at&#xD;
Brazilian Federal Universities, focusing on regional retention and academic mobility trends.&#xD;
Using data from the Lattes Platform and institutional sources, 299 permanent faculty members&#xD;
hired between 2000 and 2020 at eight federal universities with established doctoral programs&#xD;
were analyzed. The research explores correlations between the institutions where faculty&#xD;
completed their doctoral studies and their current professional affiliations, shedding light on&#xD;
patterns of academic mobility, institutional loyalty, and geographical retention. The results&#xD;
reveal significant regional trends, with universities such as Universidade Federal de Minas&#xD;
Gerais (UFMG) and Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) retaining a substantial&#xD;
portion of their graduates as faculty members. Furthermore, the analysis underscores a rising&#xD;
trend in international mobility, with a notable number of faculty members obtaining their&#xD;
doctoral degrees abroad, contributing to the internationalization of Brazilian higher education.&#xD;
This study offers insights into faculty hiring practices and their implications for academic&#xD;
development, suggesting that while local retention is strong, the influx of internationally trained&#xD;
faculty enhances diversity and academic collaboration. The findings provide a framework for&#xD;
understanding faculty recruitment dynamics and their broader impact on regional and&#xD;
international academic networks.

    <link>http://bdtd.uftm.edu.br/handle/123456789/2094</link>
Abstract: This study addresses innovation in the public sector, specifically focusing on people management and promoting mental health among employees at a Federal Institution for Higher Education. Workers' mental health has become a central topic of discussion and concern for many organizations. Managers are considered to play a strategic role in promoting mental health in the workplace, influencing employees' performance, engagement, and satisfaction. In this scenario, this dissertation aimed to understand the managers' perceptions of mental health promotion at work, identify aspects regarded as sources of well-being and distress affecting employee health, and also present proposals for mental health-focused activities within the institutional context. Based on the findings, four technical products were developed to integrate perspectives and practices that promote workplace mental health. The first product is a scientific article that gathers semi-structured interviews with managers at a public university. The findings can support the implementation of leadership training initiatives focused on public servant’s management and the promotion and prevention of mental health issues in the workplace. The second product is a scientific pitch, a concise and direct communication format, presenting the article's findings for social media dissemination to broaden and publicize the study’s results. The third product is a technical report on the application of a social technology, which involves organizing discussion circles with managers to encourage experience-sharing on mental health. Additionally, information was shared regarding psychosocial risk factors in the workplace and self-care strategies. The fourth product is an informational flyer on mental health and illness, offering self-care strategies and orientation on how employees can access mental health services when in need of specialized care. These products aim to provide strategies for implementing practices focused on improving emerging work processes in the field of the institution's occupational mental health. It is believed that studies and interventions related to mental health-promoting practices should be strengthened, encouraged, and expanded within the university, contributing to the improvement of employee mental health and well-being in the workplace.

Abstract: Electric motors are a key asset in modern industry; they are the most used driving form. After time, failures may occur, thus making it necessary to repair these electrical machines, one of the steps being the replacement of the insulation system. Currently, most repair shops use a manual process, which results in low productivity and little repeatability. Among the technologies that have the potential to contribute to the automation of manufacturing processes is additive manufacturing. Therefore, the objective of this work was to verify the application of additive manufacturing (3D printing) in the construction of insulation systems, especially slot insulation. For this, prototyping of insulators was conducted using the Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technique, and subsequently, the assembly of the insulators together with the coils was evaluated. The selected materials were ABS, polyamide 6 (PA6), PETG, and TRITAN®. These materials had their thermal stability studied by examining changes in the modulus of elasticity, yield strength, and tensile strength when exposed for 500, 1000, and 2000 hours at 105 ºC. It was found that PA6 was the only material approved for prototyping and that TRITAN® has excellent thermal stability.

    <link>http://bdtd.uftm.edu.br/handle/123456789/2092</link>
Abstract: Introduction: Smoking is recognized as a chronic disease resulting from dependence on nicotine present in tobacco products, and is included in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) of the World Health Organization (WHO). Of the lifestyle factors, smoking is the one most strongly associated with the risk of chronic non-communicable diseases. Healthcare professionals play a fundamental role in the treatment of smoking, needing to be prepared and knowledgeable about pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods, as well as the impact of smoking cessation on individuals' quality of life. Objective: The overall objective of this work is to evaluate, through a systematic review, the approaches of healthcare professionals towards smoking patients and to create a website with the information found in the study. Method: The Systematic Review was structured according to the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) method and registered in the international database PROSPERO (International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews). The search for scientific articles was carried out in the following databases: Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, and LILACS. The descriptors were selected using the PICO acronym. The descriptors used were: Tobacco use disorder AND health personnel AND smokers AND smoking cessation AND approach. The search will be conducted using the main and alternative terms in English. The selection and management of articles were done with the aid of the Rayyan tool. For the construction of the website, HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) was used as the structural basis of the site. For styling, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) was used, which allowed control over the site's appearance, such as colors, typography, spacing, and responsiveness. Along with CSS for responsiveness, the Bootstrap library was added, a front-end framework that offered a collection of ready-to-use CSS and JavaScript tools. Finally, the publication and hosting of the site were carried out through the Netlify platform, a continuous hosting tool that allows publication. At the end of the study, the website will be passed on to the Smoking Cessation Program of HC/UFTM, so that it can be constantly updated with information on the subject.
