      <description>Título: A importância das sequências numéricas para estudo do Cálculo Diferencial no Ensino Médio
Abstract: We know that it is in High School that the students have a first contact with the definition of function and, furthermore, we know that the main objective of Calculus is not to study limits, derivatives and integrals, but the study of functions using these tools. The introduction of some tools of the Differential Calculus on polynomials in High School, in an introductory and intuitive way, is very useful for a better understanding of the behavior of these functions, letting the formalism and the calculation applied to the most diverse functions continue being introduced in the higher education. In this work we present a proposal of activities to introduce some concepts of Differential Calculus on polynomials in high school. More specifically, we approach the concepts of sequences numeric series, and limits to support some concepts of derivative and optimiza- tion of polynomial functions. In each topic, illustrative activities will be proposed in order to introduce, in a simple way, the intuitive idea of the Differential Calculus. We also introduced some numerical methods, such as the Bisection method and Newton’s method, to find zeros of polynomial functions, aiding in the search for optimal points of polynomials. We apply the concepts presented in illustrative activities, in order to facilitate the understanding of these concepts.

      <title>A linguagem python como ferramenta no ensino básico.</title>

      <description>Título: A linguagem python como ferramenta no ensino básico.
Abstract: During the pandemic, the school environment was faced with the need&#xD;
to use technological tools for the development of teaching activities.&#xD;
Technological activity has interfaces to current academic and professional&#xD;
daily life. In teaching, there is a need to connect programming with mathematics&#xD;
teaching, in order to enhance the learning of certain mathematical&#xD;
subjects. During the pandemic, the school environment was faced with the need&#xD;
to use technological tools for the development of teaching activities.&#xD;
He corroborates (RESNICK, 2013) in his statement that programming is&#xD;
the form of expression of this century and that the act of programming is&#xD;
a set of actions that we formulate in advance to achieve a certain objective,&#xD;
characteristics that are easily found in elementary school math classes&#xD;
during content development and problem solving. The language Python (ROSSUM; JR, 1995) was selected for the development of the proposed activities because it is a simple to understand language,&#xD;
has commands similar to English, is dynamic and flexible, and the&#xD;
IDE (Development Interface) used for the elaboration of the codes is the&#xD;
PyCharm. One of the objectives of this research is to discuss the benefits of learning&#xD;
programming in basic education and also to propose activities that involve&#xD;
programming and mathematical content, providing students and teachers&#xD;
with discoveries and paths that are different from a traditional class.

      <title>Startic Lab: um laboratório web para o ensino de probabilidades.</title>
      <link>http://bdtd.uftm.edu.br/handle/123456789/1666</link>
      <description>Título: Startic Lab: um laboratório web para o ensino de probabilidades.
Abstract: Teaching faces, in general, great challenges to reconcile the demands of a generation born in the digital universe with the knowledge acquired by humanity, organized in the form of content. In the case of subjects that involve abstract concepts, such as probability, the challenge becomes even greater, since the average student has no contact with the subject and depends on a large number of experiments to be able to perceive patterns. In this respect, current technology allows the use of virtual laboratories, which guarantee the student a practical experience of experiments that cannot be carried out with great educational effectiveness due to their high cost and the need for replication. This research is placed in this context, with the objective of developing an online statistics laboratory so that students and teachers can improve the teaching and learning process of some concepts related to basic statistics and probability. With the review of two classic games related to the theme, the passe-dix and the Bertrand box, and with special attention to the points that correspond to the main difficulties of the Brazilian student in the 21st century, the virtual laboratory has the potential to insert the content, considered complicated, in a playful and visual way, which tends to consolidate the knowledge of users. With the application of the developed laboratory, students are able to see that it is more likely to obtain the sum 10 compared to the sum 9 in the pass-dix game, solving the misunderstanding of the bias of equiprobability, as well as correctly understanding the sample space through visual graphics. Regarding the game Bertrand box, students can perceive the sample space, also visually, avoiding common errors in game analysis, such as inverting the temporal axis. Through the game Snakes and Ladders, students learn mathematics by playing dice, that is, it provides a playful teaching of mathematics. As in the game of Differents, children with the use of dice are able to learn probability in a fun way. Based on the examples shown, the present research is concluded with a discussion on the importance of using virtual laboratories to improve the teaching and learning process of students from all classes and in all contexts, since major obstacles found in experiments that they use physical laboratories are remedied and, in addition, the profile of the contemporary student is quite compatible with digital information and communication technologies applied to Education.

      <title>Ensino de Análise Combinatória durante a pandemia de COVID-19.</title>
      <link>http://bdtd.uftm.edu.br/handle/123456789/1665</link>
      <description>Título: Ensino de Análise Combinatória durante a pandemia de COVID-19.
Abstract: The present work shows the experience of a teacher from Pedro Nunes Rocha State School in the city of Franca - SP during "online" classes, during lock down started in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For this reason, social media and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) was used to continue their activities of students and teachers during the school year. The present research contains a study of the historical course of the National High School Exam (ENEM) and the methods of corrections. It also includes solved exercises of combinatorial analysis and shows how this content is addressed in the documents that guide the education system in the country.
