Entre nós, mulheres em travessias: escrita de si e autoeducação

Abstract

This research seeks to understand how women’s subjectivation phenomena occurs through the writing process. This objective unfolds into four specific objectives: 1) To investigate the history of women's writing with the purpose of mapping when and how they began to publish and tying the contemporary situation, supported by authors such as Michelle Perrot, Silvia Federici, Norma Telles, Nelly Coelho, Luiza Lobo, Regina Dalcastagnè, among others; 2) To analyze the concept of self-writing, based on studies of Foucault's Ethics, in the understanding of the subjectivation process of women through writing, bringing authors such as Margareth Rago, Margaret McLaren and Diana Klinger, who dialogue with Foucault and participate in the discussion about self-writing and women's writing; 3) Investigate the possibility of writing as a tool for self-education, from Rudolf Steiner, creating a bridge with contemporary researchers, including bell hooks and Audre Lorde; 4) To carry out an empirical survey, in a qualitative research, in which one can follow the self-writing process by which ten (10) women who participated in the course Travessias Textuais, go through. For this empirical survey, conversation circles were used, a methodology proposed by Cecília Warschauer; semi-structured individual interviews; and the written material from the participants and the researcher through journaling, as well as individual and collective texts (assays). The analysis of the data produced is based on Cartography, proposed by Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari. This research is divided into three notebooks, the first being theoretical, with formal language; the second presents the participants and the researcher with a poetic language; and the third notebook brings the analyzes made from the empirical survey in dialogue with the presented theory, using cartography and mixing formal language with poetic language. From the analyses, the idea of writing as a territory of freedom stands out, in which each woman is able to create her own territory, but at the same time, it is in the exchanges with other women that strengthening takes place. De-idealizing, facing, affirming, exchanging and authorizing oneself become fundamental terms for the creation of this territory, in which not only is one free to write, but, mainly, as women, to constitute oneself.
